Carlos is a father, strategic thinker, and lifelong learner who brings curiosity and care to his role on the Mountain Sunrise Academy board. Originally from Bolivia, he now lives in Saratoga Springs with his wife and their five children.

Professionally, Carlos is a Senior Director at a consulting firm, where he leads complex technology and operations projects for enterprise clients. He also has a background in investing, both personally and through partnerships, and enjoys identifying opportunities that create long-term value. His passion for investing goes beyond business as he believes deeply in investing in relationships, community, and causes that matter.

Carlos was drawn to the Waldorf philosophy because of its holistic approach to educating the whole child (nurturing not just intellect, but also creativity, empathy, and a love of learning). He and his wife are committed to fostering a home life rooted in creativity, responsibility, and joy. Outside of work, Carlos enjoys traveling, reading, and learning through new experiences and perspectives. He is honored to serve on the board and excited to contribute to a school community that values connection, curiosity, and the full development of each child.
