Trisha Vale is a graduate of Viewmont High School and has lived in Utah throughout her life. She is currently a resident of Eagle Mountain, where she has lived with her family for the past 18 years. Together with her husband of 24 years, she has dedicated her life to raising and nurturing their 3 children.
Trisha is an avid reader, TV show connoisseur, and loves exploring nature. But, her favorite hobby is spending time with her family. Her love of the ocean and bodyboarding take her and her family to California annually to enjoy the sun, waves, and of course, Disneyland.
Trish’s passion for serving others and love of youth has brought her to Mountain Sunrise Academy, where she plans to explore a career in education.
Jenica grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. She never knew how much she loved working with kids until she had her own (going on 12 years ago), and it’s been her favorite thing ever since! She loves volunteering in her kids’ classes and in the children’s program at her church. This year she is learning how to grow a beautiful garden, how to become a better runner, and how to be an amazing kindergarten aide!
Jenica has always been so inspired by the way Mountain Sunrise Academy embraces imagination, nature, and rhythm. She is honored to contribute to the magic of Waldorf kindergarten!
Laney Anderson is a graduate of Cedar Valley High School. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. She has a keen interest in solving complex problems. Among her various hobbies are speedcubing, baking, and running. She loves playing with heryounger brother and nephews, which has formed her bright and bubbly personality.
Laney wholeheartedly cares about the development of children, having previously worked in childcare and ABA therapy. She aspires to aid the lives of the individuals she works with. She heavily resonates with Waldorf education principles and is committed to upholding those principles at Mountain Sunrise.
Karee has been happily married to her husband Michael for over 38 years. They have two children and two granddaughters. Her family lived in Loveland, Colorado where Karee worked in the Thompson school district for many years as a special education paraprofessional. She moved back to Utah in 2004 and then became an early childhood center director for a licensed preschool and childcare program.
Bethanie moved to Eagle Mountain in 2020. They have 3 children Kelsi (12), Londyn (7) and JJ (5). She loves being involved in the classroom and has served as room parent for two classes this past year as well as being PCC president. In her spare time, Bethanie enjoys reading, camping and exploring with her family. Bethanie is excited to be an aide and to see things in a different light. She truly believes that in order for our children to succeed we need our teachers to be successful and in order for our teachers to be successful we need our school to meet its full potential. Together we can make a difference.
Whitney is a certified yoga instructor and truly believes in balancing your head, heart, body and mind. She loves being outdoors and has a passion for running. If she’s not volunteering in her kids classroom or running with her dog in the mountains, you can find her curled up at home with a good book.
Whitney has loved being part of the schools parent community the last 3 years and is excited to be more involved on a different level.
Zoe has lived in Utah county most of her life. Has been married to her husband for 11 years and has 2 children. She graduated in outdoor recreation from Utah Valley University and has been a stay-at-home mom for 10 years.
Jennifer Reni grew up in Central Florida and pursued higher education in Utah, where she earned a degree in Behavioral Science. She has been happily married for 16 years and is a dedicated mother of three. Jennifer has a rich background in early childhood education, having taught kindergarten at a Montessori school. She is excited to bring her expertise to support the Waldorf method, fostering a holistic and nurturing learning environment.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys creating beautiful quilts and caring for plants, blending her love for creativity and nature. She also cherishes simple comforts like napping and warm blankets.
