Emma Ashworth graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education and holds a Utah K–12 teaching license with an endorsement in Visual Art. Before joining Mountain Sunrise Academy, she taught art classes at a residential treatment center, where she worked with students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. She is currently pursuing her Special Education licensure through Utah’s APPEL-SpEd program.
Emma and her husband live in Lehi. Emma loves being creative and enjoys painting, crafting, cooking, skiing, rock climbing, hiking and playing sports.
Emma is passionate about helping students recognize their strengths and build confidence in themselves. She enjoys finding creative ways to make learning engaging and helping students make progress toward their individual goals.
